Background
Following a varied start in my career working across various sectors and organisations, developing a range of skills and expertise in several areas and obtaining a degree in Business Management, I joined a venture capital company as a Business Support Manager. I had a portfolio of 15 companies, all start-up and early-stage technology business across the UK. My work centred around providing guidance and support specifically with company secretarial guidance legal documentation.
I joined Mercia in 2022 as part of the portfolio team, managing a number of investee companies, focussing on supporting them to long-term success and helping them overcome the challenges that come with early-stage investment.
