About

Having successfully completed a B.A. in Business Management and an MSc in Finance and Marketing as an international student, I soon faced the challenge of finding an industry that I would enjoy applying my skills.

Venture Capital was unknown to me at the time of graduating in 2011, however after a year obtaining work experience in a breakdown and recovery call centre, I made the jump into an industry that matched my philosophy focusing on building successful long term projects by helping founders achieve their long term goals (i.e. grow a business to x, achieve financial freedom or have enough to retire their parents).

In 2013 I joined Finance Yorkshire/Anticus and learnt about the industry from an administration point of view. In 2017 I joined an ambitious Mercia, rising through the ranks from administrator to an investment professional and in this time I have been involved in 5 companies ranging from manufacturing, edtech, software and fintech/hospitality, including two successful exits to date.

As a generalist investor, I adopt a keen attitude to listening and learning about the best opportunities to support between the Seed and Series A stage.

My approach as an active listener helps me provide personalised guidance and support for founders looking for strategic partners as part of their growth journey.
