About

I bring a broad mix of financial, operational and entrepreneurial experience to supporting portfolio companies. I started my career at Morgan Stanley in investment banking before moving to Apax Partners, where I worked on buyout transactions across Technology and Healthcare, including time in Munich focused on MedTech.

After the high octane of deal doing, I scratched an entrepreneurial itch by setting up my own business and in so doing learned many valuable lessons about what is important to drive success in early-stage businesses, and how to bring a strategy to life.

I plunged back into the world of early stage, high-growth businesses when I joined a B2B SaaS Prop Tech business as CFO, helping to fundraise and refine the business’ strategy, before managing a successful trade exit in in 2021. Having been tempted back into the investment world shortly afterwards, I joined the Mercia team in January 2024 and am based in the London office.

At Mercia I’m able to combine many of my skills, experiences and interests by supporting portfolio companies as they scale and grow as well as preparing for further fundraising and/or exit. Having navigated rapidly changing markets from both sides of the table, I understand the strategic pressures founders face and try to bring practical, grounded support to teams as they tackle these challenges.

I hold a degree in International Business and Languages from Heriot-Watt University and am a CGMA-qualified management accountant.

I love to learn about what makes a business and team special and build on their unique attributes to drive success.
